Emma and Anna ordered this 6" square cake - white fondant cake with yellow flowers for their cousin's wedding...

This is what I came up with for Kay and Niesa...  I love white fondant cake.. it is so chic and classy... when it comes to wedding cakes.. just keep it nice and simple.... well, that's my 2cents :)

Wedding cake - completed in TWO days!

When my sis in law called me and told me that there was an emergency... my heart stopped thinking that something bad could've happened... but ...

.... apparently her cousin forgot to book a wedding cake... did I tell you my sister in law called me on a THURSDAY and the wedding was on a SATURDAY (Good thing the function was at night - so I had extra time there)... 

So in TWO days this is what I came up with and thank goodness for ready made flowers!!!

Wedding Cake for Wiwie & Rudie - Kompleks Dewan Majlis Islam @ 3.12.2011

Wiwie also requested for a wedding cake for her wedding reception.   I was informed that it was going to be a purple themed wedding... and based on sample of pictures of cakes provided I came up with this design ... a bit of here and there .. a touch of this colour here and there.. somehow at the end everything falls into place... bliss...

... and I was particularly happy when I saw the pelamin... can you see how the cake somehow beautifully
blends into the theme and background..  Alhamdulilah ....

... and those are handmade roses... the huge butterflies and flower fillers are bought ready made ...

After I have finished arranging the cupcakes and placing the last touches on the cake (ie the butterflies)
I actually went to the florist to get some roses...
I wanted to spread those lovely petals to compliment the whole look..
 then only I was fully satisfied with the whole ensemble and look! :)

am really pleased with the butterflies.. somehow it added a feel of completion to the cake ...

bye-bye my labour of love ... what a beautiful cake you have been :)

Congratulation to Ewan & Amoy

My childhood friend ordered this for her niece Amoy and her other half Ewan as a wedding gift and also to celebrate their big day...  I cannot believe that her niece whom I have not seen for ages and as I remembered was just a tiny sweet little girl... is married!  How time flies!

Anyways, the theme was Red and White and the only request was to have their names on the cupcakes and cake... so here they are ...

Wedding Doorgift for Eda and Wan

Eda and Wan wanted fifty (50) pieces of MyCupcakes for their reception at Dewan Hikmah (on Wan's side of the family) and requested for a red and white theme (similar to what I did in this entry - http://anor-mycupcakes.blogspot.com/2009/08/red-and-white-hearts-for-engagement.html.

I made some variations to personalise their request for the function and here they are peeps:

Actually Wan also wanted twenty (20) of MyCupcakes for makan-makan (own consumption) ... so I decided to just give some... twenty five (25) to be exact... as just something nice to give away to the newly weds =)
