Happy 1 month old cutie pie Jasmine

We told Mas that we would go and visit her new baby girl, cutie pie Jasmine this Sunday and then Mas told me that she would like to order a cake to celebrate Jasmine turning 1 month old and ... but of course... i said YES... on the condition that it is a gift from Aunty Anor.

But early that Sunday morning Mas asked whether I could bake her 32 cupcakes also for the function.. and so I baked her some... but since it was a last min order and I only had one bar of butter so I only manage to bake 25 pieces and checked with Mas whether the said amount would be enough for her guest and she said ok... alright.. cupcakes - settled.

Since I took the time to bake and deco the cupcakes first, I only decorated the cake after we came back home after visiting Jasmine.

It's been awhile since I last held a new born ...

Anyways this is what I did for Jasmine:



The decoration was meant to match the deco I made earlier for the cupcakes.

Happy 1 Month old Little Ms Janice Loh (Full Moon Cupcakes)

Hui Min wanted fifty (50) boxes (later on she added five (5) more) of four cupcakes for each box and that they are to be decorated as follows:

pink swirl

baby romper

baby stroller

"it's a girl"

(I added the letter "J" and small pink "heart")

This is the completed individual packing:

All fifty five (55) boxes were packed in two huge boxes - which luckily can fit both my little Savvy and Hui Min's MyVi.

I have never made stickers before and ... gosh, am so easily pleased... even going to a sticker kiosk was already exciting for me... silly me! Anyways, there is a small kiosk next to KFC at Hopoh where they do all kinds, shapes and sizes of stickers for you. Was even thinking of doing stickers with Emir's name on it and stick them all to all of his belongings hahhaa...

Note: Stickers and the extra five boxes were on the house - just a tiny little full moon bday gift from MyCupcakes.

Thanks Hui Min for the order. It was nice to finally meet you in person.

FULL MOON GIFT

Florence Lau ordered one hundred (100) pieces of MyCupcakes to celebrate her daughter, JAN's FULL MOON celebration and wanted to give them away as gifts to her family and friends.

She also ordered four (4) extra cuppies (ELMO) for her son because she told me that he kept asking for ELMO after seeing my ELMO designs (which later Florence told me that he had one in the car for supper, another one for breakfast and she had to keep the other two for later)

Initially, she e-mailed me me wanting a HELLO KITTY and MINNIE MOUSE edible images but I told her that I won't be able to comply due to the short notice as I need to order from my supplier and that it would take time to reach me.

Finally, she decided to proceed with the order with buttercream frosting and the decorations are to include - to write JAN's name unto MyCupcakes and to follow the designs I did for Niza (the pink baby shower theme) and told me to keep the decorations nice and simple. I basically have an idea of how she would want MyCupcakes for JAN to be.... the deco must be just nice... not too much... but just nice =)

She came all the way to our house from 7th mile.

So Erwin and I got to talking about how MyCupcakes' customers (from all walks of lives) are willing to come all the way to our house and putting their faith and trust in MyCupcakes' hands to make the best looking and yummy-licious cupcakes best suited for their function. We're so touched! This makes us even more determined to deliver to the best of our abilities beautiful beautiful cupcakes for you!!
