MyCupcakes - home based establishment

I have friends asking whether I take orders and truthfully I had quite a head-ache figuring how to charge and all the logistics of actually selling MyCupcakes (basically starting off with a clean slate).

And so, I did a number of researches and asked around my family and friends whether the amount I’m charging is too exorbitant or reasonable (bearing in mind I am an amateur and am just starting out.)

A friend told me about http://edacupcakes.blogspot.com/ and so I went to her page to see her work and I simply loved it! Am so inspired by what she has done! Kudos to you Eda!

She’s organized and apparently she made cupcakes for Miko and Shahrul (who happens to be my husband’s first cousin). She made all the lovely cupcakes that I could just go gugu-gaga over…. If I didn’t stumble upon my mother in law’s recipe I wouldn’t be doing research and find out that there are a whole lotta of cupcake lovers out there!!!

It is indeed different baking for own consumption/giving them away for gifts/indulging dreams on how to deco beautiful cupcakes….

But I do understand the need to make it easier for those who would love MyCupcakes for their functions because so far for MyCupcakes First And Second Official Order(s), I had to repeat the same info every time someone asked/sms the info when people wondered whether I take orders or not…

So, finally I decided to come up with MyCupcakes blog to make this clear and easy for both you and me…

The reason why I listed out all MyCupcakes above is to show how I first started with the love for MyCupcakes and it would be fair for my readers/cupcake lovers to see how I have developed baking MyCupcakes with my amateur skills and humble hands and a big heart for MyCupcakes.

My goal for MyCupcakes is that I would love the challenge to make beautiful and nice toppings and decoration which is if it would have the “uuuhhhs”…”aaaahs” effect on me initially before I give them you.. then I’d be happy to hand them over to you… and then hopefully you.. my equally (or if not even more).. cupcake lovers / devotee /aficionado.. would continue the uuhhh-aaaahh-ing for your guests…

Honestly, if I’m not happy with MyCupcakes, how could I possibly have the heart to give it away to somebody else… especially someone who is willing to part with their hard-earned cash and how much expectations they put in MyCupcakes and especially when MyCupcakes are meant to be served to others and fit their function….
